Summary: Responsible for assembling products in accordance with production guidelines.
1st Shift: Mon – Thurs 6:30 am – 4:30 pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to follow all safety protocols
- Prepares each job in accordance with a job order, verbal, or written instructions
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations
- Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
- Makes suggestions to minimize waste and increase efficiencies
- Performs inspections of completed products in accordance with company quality standards
- Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, assembly schematics, operating, and maintenance instructions
- Operates shop equipment and machinery in accordance with safety requirements
- Notifies management of equipment malfunctions, injuries, or safety related occurrences
- Packages and transports produced parts as needed
- Contributes to a continuous improvement culture
- Knows and understands company policies
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education & Experience Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Understanding of basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to use company ERP system (Shop Trak)
- Willingness to work in a team atmosphere and displays a positive attitude
