Job Title: Director – Sales (Performance Aftermarket)
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 Annually

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales – Performance Aftermarket to play a key role in our next phase of growth.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the sales strategy and growth of some of the most respected brands in the industry, including QA1, Detroit Speed, SpeedTech Performance, and Proforged. You will lead and mentor a talented team of 20+ sales and customer service professionals, ensuring we meet revenue and business goals while driving success across multiple sales channels. As the champion of customer experience, you will be instrumental in shaping the way we engage and serve our customers.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize sales performance, expand our customer base, and develop forward-thinking strategies that position QA1 as an industry leader. This position may work out of either our Lakeville, Minnesota or Mooresville, North Carolina location, but remote candidates will also be considered.
What You Will Do:
- Sales Leadership & Strategy: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, developing and executing strategies that drive profitable revenue growth and business success.
- Team Development: Manage and inspire a diverse team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company objectives while fostering individual and team development.
- Strategic Sales Direction: Define and implement a comprehensive strategic vision for expanding sales channels, enhancing customer acquisition, and developing long-term business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and other internal teams to ensure seamless product launches, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with dealers and warehouse distributors to drive sales and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Business Growth: Identify emerging market trends and new business opportunities, adapting strategies to stay competitive and exceed sales targets.
- Sales Performance & Metrics: Monitor sales metrics, adjust tactics based on data, and continuously optimize performance to meet or exceed business goals.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives, providing valuable insights to shape the company's future.
- Sales Operations & Execution: Represent the brands at trade shows, industry events, and key customer meetings.
- Perform other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.
The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need:
- Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years proven track record in sales leadership within automotive aftermarket industry.
- Experience managing multiple brands, sales teams, and customer service functions
- Strong networking within high-performance and motorsports industry including SEMA
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales models, distributor networks and digital eCommerce.
- Committed to championing an exceptional customer experience.
- Proven success in fast-paced environments, balancing strategic and tactical responsibilities to develop impactful sales programs.
