QA1 Event Liability Waiver
By registering for or attending any event hosted by QA1, each participant, individually and on behalf of any minor children or others registered by them or whom they bring to the event, agrees to the following terms:
- Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that I am aware of the potential dangers involved in participating in these events. I further acknowledge that I have shared the potential dangers with anyone I bring to the event and have received their acknowledgement of the potential dangers and if I have not, that I assume all such risk for failing to disclose such risks. I accept full responsibility for any risks of injury, death, or property damage arising from my participation or the participation of any minors or others I register or bring to the event, whether caused by the negligence of QA1 or otherwise.
- Release of Liability: I release and discharge QA1, its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns; the event organizers; and any associated parties ("Releasees") from any and all liability for injury, death, or property damage as well as any and all losses or damages that may be sustained as a result of my participation, or the participation of any minors or others that I bring, in the event, regardless of the cause or basis for liability, including but not limited to, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise. If I register or bring another person that has not registered, I am agreeing to the waiver and hold harmless provisions of this waiver on his/her/their behalf and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees for any and all claims made by such person(s).
- Hold Harmless: I agree to hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including attorney fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the event or the participation of anyone I register or bring to the event that has not independently agreed to these provisions.
- Scope of Release: This waiver extends to all acts of negligence by the Releasees, including negligent rescue operations, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Severability: If any part of this agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
- Voluntary Agreement: By completing the online registration, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this waiver, understand its terms, and agree to them voluntarily. I understand that by registering myself or others, that I am waiving substantial rights and agree to a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. Further, if I bring a minor or others, I agree to the terms of this waiver on behalf of the minor or others and agree to defend and indemnify the Releasees for any and all claims brought by the minor or others I bring to the event.
By proceeding with registration for any QA1 event, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this waiver.
